studio
a studio session is an invitation to cultivate, together, a space safe for not-knowing. within it, you share about the content you’d like yourself, your audience, your co-creators, or your community to grasp with more ease—in whatever form it’s currently in. together, we imagine, sense, and look at what your content’s spatial relationships might look, feel, and be communicated.
moving into a project is a bigger step—actually building, drawing, and moving through the spatial map itself. if we enjoy our studio session’s collaborative process and want to take that step together, the cost of this studio session folds into the project’s fee, rather than adding to it.
our path picks up from here—including contracts, permissions, and the actual back-and-forth of drawing and understanding together until something resonant and aligned takes shape.

Intro: a studio session starts with a message. these questions help me sense whether we’re a match, and let me reply with care. i work by message at first, so there’s no call to schedule.

“I've had the opportunity to experience forest chaffee's work, and what stands out most is their rare ability to make complex systemic shifts feel both intuitive and deeply human.
In recent pieces on systemic investing and community land trusts, forest didn't just explain alternative models, they made visible the transition between paradigms. They bring people into that "third space" where we can move from conventional ways of thinking into more relational, systems-based understanding with clarity and care.
What is often abstract or difficult to grasp becomes embodied through their storytelling. They create access not only intellectually, but viscerally, which is exactly what is needed in this moment. Many people sense that current systems are no longer working, but lack the language or felt sense of what comes next. forest helps illuminate those pathways.
Their work supports a kind of remembering, reconnecting us to our innate capacity to think in systems and to engage with complexity in a grounded, meaningful way.
I'm grateful to be in this field of emergence alongside them and would highly recommend forest to anyone working at the intersection of systems change, storytelling, and regenerative futures.”
