Two or three kids got killed right up the street. One of my cousins got shot... he died. It's been about two years. He was there at the club and they shot him in the head. It's not like it used to be. It’s calmed down a whole lot but some people drink alcohol and they'll do anything. It doesn't make sense. That's why I don't go to the club, I just work ‘round in here.

Everyday I get up around eight and start washing cars. Sometimes I wash cars until seven or eight at night. When I get through with those I go clean carpets. I started working, washing cars and I got so used to that... that's all I do!

It would be better if everybody could be talking to each other and getting to know each other. Everybody would get along better. I've never seen it. People can go to each other’s houses, but that’s it. Now there is the Mexican restaurant where you can associate. People go to Tuscaloosa, but I believe it would be better to go in this community we live in. We could gather, play some games or whatever, everybody would be outside...

I hope that everybody can get together somewhere and get to know each other better.
